I pick up my camera to find the beauty in the simplest moments

I didn't always shoot weddings & family documentary. I'm formally trained in film and photography, and spent much of my time behind the lens shooting wildlife and street photography.

I live with my lovely wife, adorable daughters, fluffy australian shepherd, and fat cat just outside of Seattle, Washington. When not behind the lens or reviewing proofs, I’m typically woodworking, crabbing, cooking, or reading nonfiction.
